Registration for our Fall, 2024 Early Literacy programs is underway.
Three programs comprise our Early Literacy program series:
Tinker Tots is the first steppingstone in the series. Your child must be 2 years of age by September, 2024 and no older than 3 by May, 2025 to participate. This program is collaborative in nature and is designed for a child to attend and participate in with his/her caregiver.
Tinker Tots will meet Wednesdays from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
- Little Learners is the second steppingstone in the series. Your child must be at least 3 by September, 2024 and no older than four by May, 2025). Your child must be potty-trained. This is a 1-hour program. Adults are encouraged to stay in the library, but are asked not to accompany the child during the program.
There are two options for Little Learners: Mondays from 10:00 - 11:00 am or Wednesdays from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
- A2Z is the final steppingstone and is our kindergarten readiness program for children age 4, who will be kindergarten eligible in August, 2025. Children must be at least 4 years old by September, 2024. This is a 1 1/2 hour program. All children must be able to use the restroom without assistance. Adults are welcome to wait in the library or leave their child with us, but are asked not to accompany the child during the program.
A2Z will meet Tuesdays from 10:00 - 11:30 am.
Registration spots are first come, first served. To secure a spot in a program, the registration form and parent survey must be completed and returned to the library. Registration forms and survey may be downloaded and printed from this page, from Facebook, or picked up at the library.
