This month's gardening series topic is "All About Alpacas."
Who doesn't love the look of alpacas? They are interesting, friendly, easily domesticated animals with a gentle disposition. And did you know that alpaca farming is becoming quite popular and can be profitable?
Alpaca farming is environmentally friendly because alpacas do not have a significant impact on the landscape. Profits from alpaca farming are two-fold: marketing alpaca's offspring to other farms and selling alpacas' lush coat to wool spinners.
