September is Tales Across Counties month at the library. How can you participate?
1, Community read -- The Sacrifice of Lester Yates by Robin Yocum. Patrons of Perry Cook, Cardington-Lincoln Public Library, Selover Public Library, Mount Gilead Public Library, and Wornstaff Memorial Public Library will all be reading this book this month. Stop by any participating library and check out a copy of the book so you can participate in the community discussion.
2. Author talk and book signing -- Join us for a fun evening with Yocum at Cote Winery on Tuesday, September 24 at 6 pm. He will discuss the book and his writing methods. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, as well.
3. Put your sleuthing skills to the test following the Forensic Book Investigation Trail -- solve a challenge at participating libraries and unlock the final code for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card. Challenges can be found at Perry Cook, Cardington-Lincoln Public Library, Selover Public Library, and Wornstaff Memorial Public Library, one challenge per library to be completed in any order. Then turn in your final code at Mount Gilead Public Library to enter the drawing.
